Let it snow!

Last week we had some unusual weather for our area...it snowed! We were just about to put the boys to bed when my husband suggested that I looked out the window. We had nearly two inches on the ground! So we did what any other parent would do...put on their jackets and boots and played until we were too cold to play anymore! The boys made snowballs and practiced throwing them at the fence. They ran around in the snow and tried to catch snowflakes on their tongues.

When we came in they warmed up with some hot chocolate and then happily went to bed. As my husband and I settled onto our couch Keith called us upstairs for one more thing. Upon entering his room I found him sitting on his bed with the biggest smile and he told me, "Mom, God really does answer prayers! I prayed that it would snow and it really happened!" What a heart warming moment!
